Master of Arts in Public Relations

The Indiana University School of Journalism at IUPUI offers a Master of Arts in Public Relations degree on the IUPUI campus. This program is specifically designed to prepare student for public relations management positions in a wide variety of industries and fields. The degree curriculum offers two specialty tracks:

  • Public Relations Management
  • Public Relations Management in Health Care and Life Sciences
This interdisciplinary curriculum of 34.5 credit hours is comprised of a core of public relations courses, a core of business courses, and a core of electives drawn from public relations and communication studies. It is a professional degree program with no thesis requirement and all classes offered either in the evening on the downtown IUPUI campus or online.

The degree is designed to support the full-time student completing requirements in two years, or the part time student completing requirements in 2.5 or 3 years. The faculty is drawn from exceptional academics and experienced professionals, all with long years of experience in the profession.
