Special Programs

The School of Journalism occasionally hosts local, regional and national professional meetings on our campus.  These gatherings provide excellent opportunities for our students to get to know top professionals and learn from them without the cost of travel.

The National Press Photographers Association and the Indiana News Photographers Association recently have met here.

Each spring, the school honors the memory of the late Mary Benedict by holding a special issues seminar for area high school journalism editors. Some of our IUPUI majors help with the one day program.
